Why exhibit QR Codes ?
The QR Codes Exhibition at Le Réveil Matin in Landerneau was done with the assistance of the companies Gescad and Weldom.
The principle of this exhibition is to ‘hijack’ QR Codes. Most of the time, when a work contains a QR code, it is often used to provide information on the artist. In some relatively rare cases, the QR Code can show an animation or a film enriching the work itself. Here QR Codes are the exhibits. Instead of a photo, or painting containing a QR Code, we have a QR Code containing a photo and a smaller QR Code. By scanning, using a smartphone or tablet, the QR code in the lower left corner, the visitor will access a slide-show, which is on my site http://www.warewolf.fr/ , the theme of the slide-show is represented by the picture in the centre of the QR Code.
During the six weeks of the exhibition, the content of some of the slide-shows will be modified. It is therefore important that visitors do not empty the history of the application that allowed them to scan QR codes if they want to see the entire exhibition. In addition, the slide-shows will still be accessible once the exhibition is over and the themes of each QR Code will continue to be updated.

Gescad has graciously printed the 80 x 80 cm QR Codes and Weldom company gave 6 of the 13 wood panels on which the QR Codes are glued.

Pourquoi exposer des QR Codes ?
Exposition de QR Codes au Réveil Matin à Landerneau réalisée avec le concours des sociétés Gescad et Weldom.
Le principe de cette exposition est d’utiliser les QR Codes ‘à l’envers’. En effet, la plupart du temps, quand une œuvre contient un QR Code, le plus souvent celui-ci sert à donner des informations sur l’artiste. Dans quelques cas relativement rares, le QR Code permet de voir une animation ou un film enrichissant l’œuvre elle même. Ici les QR Codes sont les œuvres exposées. Au lieu d’avoir une photo, ou un tableau, contenant un QR Code, nous avons un QR Code contenant une photo et un QR Code. En scannant, à l’aide d’un smartphone ou d’une tablette, le QR Code qui se trouve dans le coin inférieur gauche, le visiteur accédera à un diaporama, qui se trouve sur mon site http://www.warewolf.fr/ ,le thème du diaporama est représenté par la photo se trouvant au centre du QR Code.
Pendant les six semaines que durera cette exposition, le contenu des diaporamas sera modifié. Il est donc important que les visiteurs ne vident pas l’historique de l’application qui leur a permis de scanner les QR Codes s’ils souhaitent voir la totalité de l’exposition. De plus, les diaporamas seront toujours accessibles une fois l’exposition terminée et les thèmes de chaque QR Code continueront à être mis à jour.
